Another fine offering from our retired professor please find this S&W Model 624 revolver bearing serial # AHB4541. This fine revolver exhibits the absolute amount of minimal wear and as chambered in 44 S&W Special is an absolute delight to fire. Cylinder ring is virtually invisible and likely the result of handling more than shooting. It is accurate and in better than excellent condition. The gentleman that owned it before the professor did send it in to Smith to have it inspected as it was at one time on a Smith & Wesson service advisory or recall list. They inspected it and sent it back with no modifications needed and so indicated by marking the cylinder with of all things an F. Revolver features a 6 ½ inch barrel, wide grooved trigger and wide checkered hammer. Sights are adjustable and the front ramp is pinned. Gorgeous grips finish this beauty out. No box or papers but in this condition who cares.
