Pre war Mauser action 30-06 stalking rifle built for Edwuard Kettner sporting goods stores.This is a very high quality rifle with a 24" barrel with a full length integral solid rib. Other features include double set triggers,a one standing one folding express sight,a standard Mauser safety and a Greener safety,scroll engraved receiver and floorplate,sling swivels, and a horn buttplate.The bore is mint with sharp rifling and no rust or pits.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage.The receiver has not been drilled to take a scope.A classic German sporting rifle.Probaly built for the U.S. market because of the caliber and the stock having no cheekpiece.C&R eligible.
