Smith & Wesson Model 19-4
Truly another fine offering from our retired professor. Please look over this S&W Model 19-4, 357 Magnum revolver. It bears serial # 73K9926, has a 6-inch barrel, thin grooved trigger with excellent color case and target hammer also bearing excellent color case. This revolver retains all the old school quality features that Smith no longer offers. Pinned barrel, recessed chambers in the cylinder, deep luster blue finish. This revolver has a 6-inch barrel with partridge front sight and adjustable rear. External finish remains very strong at 98% or better. These revolvers were once the gold standard in law enforcement especially the 4-inch barrel versions but I had a brother officer whom carried the 6 inch version and used to win the informal qualification pots quite frequently and also got some of our choir practice money at the old quarry site after midnight shifts were over and our days off commenced.
