Sharps and Hankins 1862 Naval carbine, 6 groove barrel that is lacking the leather wrap. Bore rates at 7 with good lands and grooves & less than normal pitting. Original sights, it is missing the sling swivel on the butt stock. mechanically good condition. 16xx s/n range. barrel metal is smooth on the exterior it does not look like it had the wrap installed but i cannot say for sure.
