EXCELLENT WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION .38-40 CAL. RIFLE W/FACTORY LETTER. All original and matching (388,xxx range). 26” barrel with elevator rear and nickel blade front sight. Approximately 95% original blue and still has much color case hardening on the lever and hammer. Stock and forend with most of the finish. Excellent bore and perfect working order. With factory records which is on order indicating it was shipped from the warehouse Sept. 7, 1891. Very handsome example.
