This Winchester was produced in 1936. The carbine's serial number is 1103867. This carbine has the earlier style stock and forend. The sights are the newer style that was being introduced at that time. The Lyman tang sight appears to have been installed at the time this carbine was sold. The factory blue shows no fading under the sight. The bore is bright and shows little use. The front hood cover is intact. The carbine's bluing would rate a 94% overall condition. Most of the loss is under the frame where you would carry the carbine. The stock and forend retain almost all the original varnish. There is no cracks or damage to the wood. The screws are not messed up or buggered. This is a very nice pre World War Two carbine that has seen little use. This is certainly a collector grade firearm for the collector.
