Description:
Classic pump action rimfire rifle from Winchester. This model 61 was produced in 1932. Fitted with a 24" octagonal barrel and chambered in .22 long rifle only. Blue finish in excellent condition on the barrel and reciever. Some wear to finish noted on hard edges at bottom of receiver. Stock is proud and unrefinished. Light scratches, dents and handling marks typical of an 85 year old rifle noted on the stock. Receiver has been tapped and fitted with a lyman peep sight. Lyman front bead sight. Original rear elevator sight has been replaced with dovetail drop leaf. Mechanically sound.
