Interesting custom rifle, not to everyone's taste but here are the positives: light weight w 20" slim barrel w front sight only no evidence of rear, inscribed "Chet Paulson Tacoma" and (hidden) "Ashton made in USA". Clean sharp bore. Early comml FN action drilled/tapped w Weaver bases, shortened blind mag box, jeweled bolt, Dayton trigger and scope safety. Blueing very good; wood has light marks and scratches. Four figure fluted forend stock, lightened, incredibly detailed elaborate carving, rosewood grip/tip w contrasting spacer. Crack in wrist glued and stabilized w glued & threaded steel rod, rod inserted from inletting so not visible. 6lb.
