This Ball Repeating carbine was made by E.G.Lamson & co Winsor ,VT It was a US Government contracted Carbine . Its 20-1/2 barrel Trigger guard doubled as a breech-operating lever. Stock is walnut,in the stock there is a 3/4 lenght fore stock was a tubular , 7 shot magazine, 56-50 rim-fire cartridge loading throught a port which also acted as the ejection port. See Pics.
