28" O/U matted-vent-rib barrels choked extra full & extra full. 14 5/8" pull from articulated front trigger to checkered wood butt. 1 1/2" - 2 5/8" drop. 1/2" cast off. Fully figured walnut stocks with 3-piece Deeley-release field forend, horn-escutcheoned forend mounting screws, round-knob half pistol grip, no swivels or cheekpiece, and classic point-pattern checkering. Fully engraved receiver with a setter flushing five grouse on the left lock and a fox flushing four ducks on the right, all surrounded with arabesque scroll. Hand-detachable bolstered sidelock action with concealed lock release, cocking indicators, double underbites and double Kersten locks, intercepting sears, and manual top tang safety. Weight: 7lbs, 11 1/2oz. Built 1953. 99%+blue. Tight, and with excellent bores.
