Presented for you today is a Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army Revolver in .44-40. Carrying serial number 230280, this vintage handgun is dated from 1903.
The Colt SAA’s aged stag grips are in good original condition. Metal condition shows good original finish, with signs of original color case hardening. The SAA’s “Colt Frontier Six Shooter” barrel marking is still visible. The 4.75” round barrel’s bore is very good. This pistol is mechanically sound and will make an excellent addition for the serious Colt collector.
