Description:
This April of 1943 prodcution Inland M1 Carbine is a beauty.  It was reworked at some point post WW2 and updated with some of the later parts but still retains the original barrel, bolt, receiver, trigger housing, and stock.  Many of the small parts are also still correct for WW2 production.  It appears to be 100% original finish all the way around.  The parkerizing is the correct color for Inland at this time, is in excellent condition, and shows no signs of refinishing.  The barrel has a bright and clean bore with sharp lands and grooves in the rifling.  It is stamped behind the front sight with the Inland General Motors Division marking dated "4-43" for April of 1943.  The flat bolt is also still in it's original blue finish and in excellent shape showing very little wear..  The stock appears to be the original stock it left the factory with, which has a nice large U.S. Ordnance wheel cartouche on the right side of the butt and is marked "IO" in the slingwell on the left side.  The pistol grip was stamped on the bottom with a "circle P" when it was rebuilt along with a ".U." on the left side of the stock which shows the rebuild was completed by Underwood.  Everything on this Inland M1 Carbine works 100% like the day it left the factory and it could be put up as an investment and/or taken to the range and shot.  It comes with a "S.I." marked 15 round GI magazine.
