Description:
The Colt New Police was made from 1896 to 1907. The 6-shot revolvers were fitted with either a 2 1/2, 4 or 6 inch barrel, fixed sights, square butt frame, checkered black hard rubber grips, were blue or nickel finished, and chambered in .32 Colt or .32 Colt New Police. This 1903 vintage gun is as described and is fitted with a 6 inch barrel, is blue finished, and is chambered in .32 Colt. It is in very fine original condition, retaining 90% of its original blue finish, with thinning overall and some spotting on the bottom of the barrel. The grips are in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and as is typical with some of these older Colt's, the action functions perfectly in double action mode, but when single action fired there is not a complete lock-up until the trigger is squeezed off.
