Quality Consignments Wanted! This Colt was produced in 1956. The serial number for this Colt is 5911 SA. The factory letter states that this pistol was shipped to Camfour Inc. at Springfield Massachusetts on August 15th 1956. This 45 long Colt is fitted for a 7 1/2 inch barrel. It is in unfired condition. This Colt Is in minty as packed by Colt Condition. The cylinders have no drag lines. The color cased finish is very colorful and bright. The bluing is really strong and deep looking. The hard rubber grips are minty. These grips fit perfectly, however, there is no serial number etched inside of these grips. On the early Colt post war models, they are sometimes seen with no grip serial numbers. The original box has the original papers and early instruction sheet. The cleaning brush is also there. The box is sound with no damage. There is no end tabs present or ever being attached. The box also has no serial number on the bottom. These omissions were also sometimes seen on some of the very early Colt boxes. This Colt is very collectable and sought after by serious Colt collectors.
