25” barrels in excellent condition inside and out , mirror bores and chambers
95%+ bluing. One standing express rear sight with front partridge front blade.
Ejectors / extractor switch on the forend. The rifle weight is 8 pounds 2 Oz.
Coin finish receiver with 60% scroll engraving coverage, bolstered frame, Purdey
flat bolt and Greener cross bolt. It also has cocking indicators and front set trigger.
Nice piece of walnut, LOP is 14 5/8” LOP over a ¾” pad. Drop is 1 ¾” x 2 ¾” cast
Off is ¼”.
Wood original finish is at 90% condition with usual hunting light marks, checkering
is at 95%.
Accurate with a variety of bullet weight, this rifle will provide good service either on this continent or in Africa.
