CUSTOM BUILT DELUXE 1892 RIFLE IN .218 BEE CALIBER, nicely done conversion with a 1915 vintage receiver that has been finely blued and had the lever curved to fit a pistol grip stock, the new medium weight round barrel is stamped with the caliber on the side plus "EASTON RIFLE CO." which I believe was a company connected to P.O. Ackley in the 1950s. The 24" barrel has a long ramp front sight with dovetailed blade/bead blade, rear sight is a really super heavy long base express sight with three folding leaves each with a higher elevation than the previous, has a half magazine that extends for three inches from the forend cap, appears to have original deluxe grade checkered Model 64 stock and forend complete with Winchester embossed pistol grip cap and super grade sling swivel inletted in the butt stock plus a swivel in the forend cap, Wood and checkering are truly excellent as is the refinish on the receiver and the deep blue on the forend cap, magazine and barrel, correct checkered steel butt plate, exc. inside and out, a true classic of the post World War II custom rifle boom! Would cost a small fortune to have custom made today.
