There are a number of marks on the Colt which bear mentioning as follows: the inside of the orignal grips are scratched ''EARL'' & several letters of assembly.Mental Grips like I have never seen before with colt logo. Over all it is in very good condition ,loss of bluing but no pitting And all 3- serial nos. are the same.The Bore is in excellent condition,the action is tight It will shoot ! There is one scratch mark on the side of the barrel as shown by picture I was told ,It was not uncommon to identify guns with this type hash mark for one reason or another.?
