Description:
This is an early Colt Hinged Lid box for a Single Action Army Revolver. The end label is mostly intact and specifies that it originally contained a .38 Cal. Revolver but the Barrel length tab is missing. The original gun SN: 9274 is marked on the box bottom in red grease pencil. The box remains in very solid condition with no moisture damage. The corners of the box lid on the label end are split, but otherwise it is intact excluding expected wear. Note that the phrase “Colt Single Action Army” is located Under the Horse. Please rest assured that this is not a fake box from the “internet” that has been aged. This is an original box as described, GUARENTEED !
