It retains 85% blue and case colors. The mechanical condition if very good, crisp and tight. The bore is excellent, bright and shiny. This is serial number 4272 and is all matching serial numbers. The left grip panel has RPB inspector cartouche. It would be very difficult to find a nicer one. The Civil War contract, for 5000 were delivered Sept. 1865. The left grip has a few tiny nicks but no cracks or damage. I would consider trades for pre 1899 ANTIQUE PISTOLS and rifles on any of my items.. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO TRADE?
