This is the hard to find bolt action Savage Model 45 Super Sporter with the original Lyman receiver sight and checkered stock. 22" round barrel chambered in Cal 250-3000. Bright shiny bore with strong rifling. Sling swivels and a grooved metal Savage buttplate. 5-round clip. Most all original blue remains on the barrel and frame. Checkered Walnut stock in good overall condition with a few handling dings. Only 6,000 made. This accounts for the fact that one can go years without seeing a Model 45 on a used gun rack!
