#29012 & 29014 A composed pair of Arrieta s 578 12 Ga
26 ¾” barrels 2 ¾” chambers both sets are like new inside and out.
The bores measure .730” and have .024” Imd and .040”Xfull constrictions.
Cross filed flat ribs, chopper lumps tubes, large bodies ejectors.
As usual on Spanish production , the ribs are brazed on.
The coin finished actions have a 75% off rose and scroll engraving.
7 pins side locks ,double triggers with articulated front, Purdey type flat bolt,
bushed firing pins, automatic safety.
They are in 99%+ condition , # 29014 appears unfired.
The guns weight is 6 pounds 12 oz and 6 pounds 9oz , and they balance right at the hinge pin.
Stocked in nice straight grain walnut , with English grip and tear drops panels.
The stocks have 14 ¾” LOP to a checkered butt , 1 3/8” & 2 ¼” drop ¼” cast off with + 1/8” toe out.
The first gun has light handling marks and the finish is in 95% original condition .
The second gun finish is in 99%+ condition , both have 99% condition checkering.
In a factory, French fitted leather case.
