VENT RIB, 30”, FACTORY LETTER, NICE WOOD

Here we have a really nice Trap Grade Model 21, serial number 24736 made in 1957, with 30” ventilated rib barrels, choked M/F, with perfect screws and mechanics, perfect mirror shiny bores, hard-to-find English style stock with very well figured wood, Trap style beavertail forend, no cracks or repairs on the wood, 14 ½” LOP to the Winchester pad, barrel blue 99% factory original in near new condition, Cody lettered and matching all except right barrel was opened up to Modified from Full. The gun has been used and has a few handling marks in the wood, but is still tight as new on the hinge pin and breech face. Weighing 7lbs. 14oz. and balanced dead on the hinge pin, it is a long range bird killer and a natural on the clays course. Using soft shooting RST spreader loads would make this gun pattern like IC/M, so it is indeed an excellent sporting clays gun set up for close to long shots. The Model 21’s were built to handle any level of modern 2 ¾” loads available today with the exception of hard non-toxic shot like steel or Hevi Shot so pheasant and duck hunters can put as much pressure on this gun as is available and she won’t fail. Much attention was devoted to boring and choke work on each gun making the Model 21 one of the most effective fowl and clay target guns ever manufactured. Please take a close look at the quality of this fine Model 21, the figure in the wood, the perfect screws, and all the measurements and information you could need to make a good buying decision.
