Just received this beautifully engraved Colt Single Action Army chambered in .38-40. The Ivory fitted gun was engraved by Wayne D'Angelo and features C+ / D- coverage engraving with gold inlayed bands on the barrel and cylinder. It has "Billy the Kid" engraved on the upper back-strap, "Wild Bill Hickok" scrimshawed on the left grip panel, and "Wyatt Earp" scrimshawed on the right grip panel. The nicely figured Ivory grips were fitted to the gun by Dan Chesiak and the beautifully scrimshawed portraits were done by K. Dennis Holland. This late 3rd Generation (with the cylinder bushing) is fitted with a 7 1/2 inch barrel and is completely high polish blue finished, setting off the very nicely done engraving.
