Description:
We are proud to offer before you today what has got to be one of the most difficult of all the King Cobras to locate, the .38 Special. There has been much speculation over the years about these very rare Snakes. Theories ranging from Parts clean-up to South of the Border police issue pieces but no we have been unable to locate any supporting documention to back any claims. The only thing for certain is that locating one of these is near impossible.
This package is complete with the factory original serialized box with manual, papers, and the archive letter proving it's provenance. Please note on the letter that this was listed as a "Used" firearm with the supporting "Z" stamp on the right side of the frame as with all the fierearms I have encountered with the "Used" moniker. There is no "VP" stamp on the frame in the usual location once again supporting the "Used" designation from the factory.
The condition is excellent showing very little in the way of detraction to the exterior of the weapon. On the face of the cylinder you will find 6 burn rings indicating it has been fired.
