This scarce lovely is also grip inscribed with the German police Sunburst Badge and the police department's city code, S XX I. The right side of the barrel group is stamped with the police code Eagle/L and the left with an Eagle/N commercial proof.
The original finish retained is at the very least 97-98%. The little loss there is, is due to the usual side plate, muzzle and sharp edge silvering. The grips straps show very almost no graying.
All parts match including the magazine. The walnut grips are in super shape with no chips, splits or flattened points, not a hint of frost. The bolt face, slide rails and feed ramp show only slight use.
The bore is mirror bright, with razor sharp rifling. It appears as if the gun was a high-ranking officer's Holster Queen. It comes with one matching (#23XX) TDK magazine. which is stamped P-08, FXO, Eagle/77 and Eagle/77 on the spine. A beautiful WW II Nazi Era Police Luger with the Commercial Mauser Banner and finish are a rare breed indeed. A wonderful addition to any collection.....$3295.
