Rare 30-03 ...yes that is correct not a 30-06...very few were made and they can fire a 30-06 round..on case you were wondering.
sn 406627, Winchester Doesnt have records that late for this 1895.
Age would be approximately 1923 or 24
Absolutely gorgeous original wood that has not been refinished...super hard to find this kind of wood on a gun.
Deluxe 1895 listed with Fancy Checkered Stock Description: Overall a very rare and unique gun. Wood is original to the gun and in great condition. Metal appears original and bore is great. Very unique and hard to find 1895 Winchester. Blue has turrned to plum in a number of places and the bore is very nice...normal areas of blue loss from use ...wood is very nice and shows to be original with dents and normal wear patterns.
