This Springfield - Garand, Ser # 2856XXX was mfg. about 7/'44 and has about 100% of the original type parts that it was
issued. It has an original walnut stock w/ the correct cartouche "SA/GAW" and some rack dings.The metal is is consistant
shade of a combination of the oil quenching & parkerizing which produced a nice olive grayish tone of the receiver, bolt & trigger housing.
