This Colt 2nd Generation "Buntline Special" was manufactured in 1957 and was engraved by Mike Dubber in 2013 to commemorate "Tex & Patches", images of the character developed by artist Frank L. Schoonover back in the 1920's. This Buntline has been hand engraved to Exhibition Grade with profuse gold inlay work throughout. The gun has been entirely bordered in 24K Gold with floral vignettes at the terminals and with interlocking frame-to-grip inlays work. The barrel and cylinder are inlaid with multiple gold bands and the cylinder flutes are outlined in the same 24K border work.
