Stevens Ideal #44 .22 S,L,LR caliber rifle. Bore is excellent. Action works perfectly. Receiver has approximately 60-70% case colors. Barrel is set up for scope block. Does not have a dovetail for rear sight and never did. Front sight is a post with hood. There is a fine Lyman micrometer rear sight on the tang. Stock is pistol grip and is excellent except for one small bruise on the right side buttstock. Gun has 98-99% blue on barrel. We think this is a late production No. 44 Ideal. Excellent overall condition.
