Description:

19th Century Antique COLT .22 NEW LINE Revolver

1875 Made Tiny Self-Defense Revolver

Here we present an antique Colt New Line Revolver, made 1873-77 in Hartford, Connecticut. The Colt New Line was a small, spur trigger revolver that held 7 shots of .22 rimfire and slipped easily into a pocket. These pistols were used as self-defense weapons during the late 19th century in big eastern cities and western boomtowns.

The side of the barrel is very clearly etched with “COLT NEW LINE 22”. The top of the barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD CT. USA.”

This specimen is in fine condition. The original nickel finish is 95%. The markings are clear and legible. The grips are in very nice condition. The bore is very good. The action is mobile, but the mainspring could use adjustment or replacement.

Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.

Barrel is 2-1/4 inches.

Caliber: .22 Rimfire

Overall condition as seen in photos.
