With 7 ½” bbl.; made 1895; Colt has no record of this gun; this gun was reworked and factory engraved probably in 1940”s; factory re-work assembly number ‘754’ on cylinder, bbl., back strap and trigger guard; also has Colt verified proof on front bow of trigger guard; this gun is from Dr. William B. Shugar’s collection and his inventory tag is shown along with factory no record letter; BEAUTIFULLY engraved by Colt Master Engraver Wilbur A.
