Description:
This little Winchester Model 1894 started life as a .32 Special Saddle Ring Carbine with nickel steel barrel. Sometime along the way the barrel was cut to 18 inches and a new front sight fabricated. The saddle ring was lost or removed and a Redfield receiver sight was mounted. The stock was cut and a home made buttplate fabricated. The gun was rust blued. Bore remains about good with lots of rifling left. Length of pull is now 12 & 3/8 inches.
Regardless it is still an original pre war saddle ring carbine.
