Winchesters Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine .38-55wcf. The serial number of this carbine is 4517XX placing date of manufacture in 1908. Overall condition is very good with 80-85% factory blue remaining on the barrel and magazine. The bore is very good with strong rifling. The bore will rate an 8 on a 1 to 10 scale. The bore will clean up a little better with a good scrubbing. Wood to metal fit is perfect without any damage. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Great little saddle gun!!!
