Description:
A very early Belgian Browning 308 Safari grade built in 1961.This rifle is built on the hard to find small ring Mauser action.The rifle appears to be new,retaining 100% of the original blue and wood finish.There is no primer mark on the bolt face and the rifle has never had a scope on it.The barrel is the small contour "pencil" barrel.The short action cartridges were only made on Mauser actions for a short time before Browning went to Sako actions for the short cartridges.This is a rare rifle in true collector condition.C&R eligible.
