Description:
Marlin Ballard-Hubalek Schuetzen rifle chambered in 22 l.r., sporting a 29-1/4” A. Hubalek marked round barrel. Butt stock appears original terminating in a nickel plated Schuetzen style butt plate. Non-original fore-end with a CPA palm rest and color cased hardware. A Lyman 77R front sight tops of the barrel, accompanied by a Marble micro-click rear tang sight.
The barrel is also equipped with scope blocks. Great bore, no pitting; nice let off on the single trigger. Barrel is mostly blue with some amounts of case color on the Ballard receiver. This is the rifle I used to bring to the indoor Schuetzen matches at the Bridgeport Rifle Club. Everybody wanted to shoot it! Extractor may need a little tweaking, as I remember it did not pick up the rim each time. Very accurate rifle.
