Description:
The action is very crisp in SA or DA (double action) on this Antique Cooper Navy 36 cal . The finish retains 40% or more original blue through out . The receiver is case colored shows 80% vivid colors . The back strap is deep dark mustard color.. What was very surprising was the condition of the bore. its bright and shiney with no black powder etch or pitting. in the lands and grooves.
?Notice the edges are sharp of the 6 inch octogon barrel. I would think this was used in a saloon that was full of cigar smoke as it has a yellow cast over the entire gun. It sure was not fired very much as evidence of the bore being bright and shiney . The grips display 90% grip varnish and shows surface handling marks consistant with a 160 year old revolver. there are no chips or crack s on the walnut grips. circa is 1861 has 4 diget serial # and all numbers match 132x .
