Description:
Stevens 418 “Walnut Hill” Junior Target Rifle, rare in this condition, featuring a 26” barrel chambered in 22 l.r. sporting a Lyman 17A front sight with an aperture insert. Barrel finish is 98%+ original blued finished, with just the lightest bit of speckling; with excellent sharp rifling. The barrel is also factory drilled and tapped for a scope. The receiver is fully brilliant original case colored with very light wear as shown on the sharp edges, with the lever showing most of the wear from handling. Both the fore end and butt stock are in excellent original condition. The butt plate showing most wear likely from the way the rifle was stored. The single trigger has a very crisp let off on.
