Description:
Winchester Model 70 .257 Roberts standard rifle. 24" Barrel. S/N 51*** with matching bolt. Early post WWII production,(1946) but comprised entirely of Pre War components and finishes including the beautiful rust blued barrel, soft lacquer wood finish, clover leaf tang, flag safety and matted rear receiver bridge. This scarce caliber rifle is in very good condition overall showing normal use marks and a bit of moisture staining at butt plate union. It should make someone a fine collectable shooter.
