Here it is, the epitome of Colt Prewar Double Action – a New Service Model Shooting Master 357. One of the approximately 500 manufactured. Colt went all out with these, and intended them to be the absolute best target revolver available. The original factory finish has thinning commensurate with a 76 year old gun, as well as spots of oxidation and freckling. This firearm was ordered with the square butt, and left the factory in 1941 as a single gun shipment. The original stocks are beautiful. Please view the photos here for the purpose of evaluating the condition for yourself. Included in the sale is the factory letter. This item qualifies as a C&R.

Payment must be by bank certified (cashiers) check or Postal Money Order. Shipping & insurance by FedEx is $45 to eligible lower 47 states. Shipping to AK or HI will have additional costs for which buyer is responsible. I will need a copy of an FFL dealer license or C&R with copy of Driver’s License to ship the gun. There is a 3 day, no-shoot, no disassembly inspection period and the buyer is responsible for cost of shipping both ways if returned. If your FFL dealer will not accept shipment from an individual, I will need an additional $35 to ship through my FFL
