- Here we have a Winchester Model 1890 .22 Long SN584XXX Third Model takedown rifle manufactured between 1915-1917 according to Winchester serialization resources. The 100 year old gun carries some scratches and mars on the action and the wood and the metal surfaces have an earned brown patina but no rust. The barrel is 24" long with iron sights. The bore is rated good and the gun's accuracy attests to its good condition. The little rifle weighs a slight 5.5 lbs and is a delightful plinker.
