Lock plate engraved “DAVIDSON. Brass ramrod pipes and engraved trigger guard with “PINEAPPLE” finial. Walnut stock and original wood ram rod with horn tip. All original and in very good condition with the brass nicely patinated and the stock with the original finish. Small piece of wood missing from ramrod channel on left side below the wedge. Hammer screw head with half missing. Descended in the family of a Scottish immigrant who came to this country in the late 1800’s. John Davidson was a London maker and barrel proofer.
