Description:
This Drilling was manufactured by Fr. Jac Bartels in Wiesbaden, Germany in March of 1936. The 24 7/16 inch long shotgun barrels are 16 Gauge with 2 1/2 inch chambers and the rifle barrel is 8x57 JRS, a cartridge which is readily available. The scalloped boxlock action is nicely engraved and is extremely strong with three locking lugs (including a Greener crossbolt), sideclips, and cocking indicators. When the rifle selector is pushed forward the rear sight pops-up automatically and the front trigger can be used as a set trigger by pushing it forward. The entire gun is in excellent original condition. Drillings from this period, in this condition, with a rifled barrel in a easily obtainable caliber are hard to find.
