Made 1955 30” vent rib barrels choked F/M (measures .032”/.020”) Trap model as so-described and authenticated in the Browning letter of provenance. Funken-engraved (no question), and so-signed, both sides. Exceptional Gr III 'full' game scene engraving and accurate figure-ground relationships characteristic of Funken. Single-selective trigger, 2-3/4" chambers, ejectors. 8lbs 3oz. 1-3/8" DAH x 1-7/8" DAC x 14-3/8" LOP to butt plate. Trap guns with butt plates are increasingly rare. All original parts and matching #'s. The seller I bought this gun from represented it is a one/original-owner gun and assured the wood finish is original. I cannot dispute that claim given my current level of knowledge of Superposed history and details of the 1950's era. This piece evidences more safe/case marks than its apparent minimal use and is tight as new. I would rate the condition at 98+%. 'VERY difficult to find an original Gr III & Tolex case in this condition. Photos are intended to convey general condition of wood and metal finishes. Please view thoroughly and ask questions.
