Description:
Early Post-War .38 Special Detective Special with Dual-Tone finish . The serial number dates production to 1950. The over all condition is excellent with virtually no handling or high edge wear. The cylinder face, recoil shield, and forcing cone indicate light use. The action is crisp, with tight lock-up, and the bore is clean. The original "Coltwood" plastic grips look beautiful, but do show signs of shrinkage common to revolvers of this era. Would make a fine addition to any Detective Special collection.
