This walther was born in 1968 it appears un fired. is WAFFENFABRIK Ulm/do.
?Is Eagle N stamped on the slide , barrel and frame. the barrel is stamped with antler 68.The finish is a high polished Blue with normal handling marks and surface marks.
?what is unusual about this pistol is the date 1968 and no import marks. the grips show light marks from handling no chips or cracks . The magazine is walther stamped 7.65 showing banner. No box or papersThe Gsa had put a hold on imports in 1968 because Walther needed to make a change or to.This could of been brought back to USA by an American Pilot or a Vet im not sure. I also think this is one of the last Ulm/do to be manufactured in Germany . I will accept a C&R or FFL to ship is 50 years old in jan 1 2018 .
