Winchester Model 1873 "First Model" .44-40wcf. with Factory 28 inch Barrel. The serial number of this example 213XX placing date of manufacture in 1876. Overall condition is very good with the original factory rust blue toned to a very nice even blue/plum patina. The bore is very good with strong rifling from muzzle to breech. The bore is bright and shiny. The bore will rate an 8 on a 1 to 10 scale. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is perfect and void of damage.
