This Stevens shotgun was mfg under contract w/the US Army and has the designated markings. The "US" is imprinted on the
R side of the receive along w/the matching "Flaming Bombs" on both the barrel and receiver along w/the model no "620". This is
the much rarer series of Stevens Military shotguns. It was mfg about 1942 according to my info and has the correct serial number
of 175XX which falls well within the 30,000 maximum production for this model.The gun has retained about 85-90% of it's bluing
and is in good condition for its age. The receiver has some rubs and slight wear on the edges. The stock is average to good
and w/no cracks or repairs. A good overal Military collectible from the WW II era.
