c. 1903 Ithaca Lewis Grade 4 double-barrelled 12 ga shotgun. Good-V. Good condition. Fancy engraving on wood (fleur-de-lis checkering) and metal (birds and dogs and a dog with a bird in its mouth. even the screwheads are very ornate). Son used it for occasional fair-weather rabbit hunting and it was upon purchase inspected and serviced by former Ithaca gunsmith dba Diamond in Ithaca, NY. Clean. Good bores. Even considering the age, the highly ornate wood and metal are in very good shape! Selling as son will now go off to year-round Dental School and will miss hunting season for years...He may wish to buy it back in 4 yrs.! 3 boxes various vintager shells included.
