Payment Types Accepted: Credit Card, Certified Check, Money Order Description: UNFIRED Antique ODDITY American Arms Revolver Unique Features with Wooden Case & Ammo Box Here we present an antique American Arms Company Top Break Double Action Revolver, made in Boston, Massachusetts, circa 1891. This revolver is packed with features that most never knew have ever been on a revolver, the most interesting of which is the small switch in the left side plate that actually changes the trigger stroke from a normal double action trigger to a two-stage stroke, in which the first stage cocks the hammer and the next stage fires the weapon. It is for this reason that there is also a tang mounted safety selector, which functions in either mode to which the trigger is set. There is also a push button on the left side of the top strap which keeps or releases the cylinder. The cylinder features double locking notches. Shells automatically eject upon opening the revolver. These are considered quite scarce, if not rare, especially in this unfired condition. It is chambered in .32 S&W and meant for self-defense. The top of the barrel is marked “AMERICAN ARMS CO. BOSTON”. The top strap is marked “PAT’S/MAY 25’88/MAR 11’89/JUNE 17’90/SEPT 1’91”. The hard rubber grips each bear a federal eagle clutching arrows. The box in which this piece comes appears to be the original case. The top bears correct instructions for its use. It also contains an empty original box of UMC .32 Cal S&W Central-Fire Cartridges and a bore brush. The overall condition is excellent and unfired. The original bright nickel finish is virtually complete. Case colors are vibrant. The grips are excellent. The bore looks like it has never been shot. The action is excellent. Here is an oddity and a rarity made by American Arms Company of Boston! Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. No others like it found for sale worldwide!
