Description:
This is a nice Model 1837 with a nice inspector cartouche on the left side. The markings are crisp and the mechanical function is very good and so is the bore. On the left side wood there is a tight grain crack forward of the lock screw. There is also a small tight crack at the rear of the lock that is about 3/16” in length. Overall a very nice example of a 1837 dated Water flintlock pistol with very good markings and a nice inspectors cartouche on the wood.
